Reading Catcher in the Rye I came across this quote,

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you like it.

So what books have you read that made you feel this way?

1. The Gone-Away World by Nick Harkaway – Because he is a genius with words.
2. The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort – To ask him business advice.
3. After Dark by Haruki Murakami – The story is so average and so thought provoking at the same time.
4. Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki – Once again for business advice.
5. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald – I would like to speak to him if he wasn’t dead just to see what he was thinking when he made the Gatsby die! Come on.
