As of late I have been trying to simplify everything. Narrowing life down to three sort of generalized, but amazingly ominsituational, thoughts has been part of that.
1. “A man should live forever or die trying.” Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon by Spider Robinson.
2. “Stay focused when nothing seemed to make sense.” Shoot Down the Stars by Gym Class Heroes.
3. “Life is simple. You make choices and don’t look back.” Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Kate C. added these pithy words on May 22 09 at 7:22 amThose are decent ideas, but I challenge you to think of how the Bible calls you to live. What principles found in there can help you to “simplify?” The Bible is also intended to be, as you put it, “amazingly ominsituational” Why not look there for ideas for how to shape your life rather than to the world? Just some thoughts.
