I am sit here with a picture of Sneeze Magazine open in my browser and immediately I want to buy it.

Do I want it because of the girl on the cover?
Do I want to feel as cool as the guy reading it?
Do I want to be placed in that atmosphere?

What psychologically is going on when I see this and want it?

This makes me think about people who read the Wall Street Journal.
Stock brokers, businessmen, lawyers, whomever.
What makes them want to read the WSJ.
Surely it isn’t for the pictures.
It isn’t popular culture, at least not in a sense were used to.

But for them it is popular culture.
To them it means being in the know.
Fitting in, doing business, and excelling.
And that’s cool.

But what makes being ahead of your peers cool?
What is it about having things, or money, or knowledge that makes you better?

So I have to ask if having this stuff makes you better, wouldn’t you rather be the person creating it?
Instead of the person finding out about them.
Wouldn’t that be cool on the base level?

Ask more questions than you get answers.

As you can see, it can go in any direction.  Twistori has focused this stream of concious in to several categories.  I noticed that this was also done at WeFeelFine; probably because the creator over laps.  However, WeFeelFine, explores more than just the six or so emotions that Twistori does; making it a much deeper, more satisfying stream of conscious.

So if you have a few minutes or are just nosey about what other people are feeling, then check both the sites out.  Here is a brief preview of Twistori – I stole the image off the Twitter blog.

I stumbled across this today and really thought about doing it because I have some big rolls of paper that I have saved for something like this.  The artist is Christiaan Postma.
