Frist Friday York

After First Friday York I went with the Think Drink York crew to the First Friday After Party for live music, local art, and good company! The pictures are taken on 200 ISO Fuji Film using a Pentax ME Super and a f/1.7, 50mm lens then scanned from Walmart 4×6 prints, I hope to get negative scans sometime with in the next couple of months.

This is my latest video creation–a compilation of still images over sounds I collected myself. Not all the images are mine, in fact most are not. But after an estimated 20-25 hours of work on this less than two minute project, I finally believe the video has a nice feel to it.

Please watch the video with headphones for the best sound image relationship. I suggest watching it at least twice to pick up on some of the images and establish a deeper meaning. Some of the motifs should be clear.

Anyway, have a look for yourself and all comments are welcome!

BurningLAN: York's Premiere LAN Party

Tonight will be quite entertaining for sure. My friend Eric Abruzzese, BurningLAN’s founder, director, admin, and just crazy guy, is hosting a LAN party. There will be gaming on Xbox, PC, Wii, SNES, and maybe some other platforms. We will be playing Unreal Tournament 2004, Halo 3, Gears of War, Counter Strike: Source, and a ton of other games.
